Ava and I met Jeff for lunch in Sioux Falls last week. A beautiful day for a picnic! Ava didn't pay much attention to her lunch because there were far too many kids running around screaming. She loved all the madness! We took her to the "little kids" playset and she got to explore that for a while. The slide was her favorite, she wasn't nervous about it at all. The picture above is of her scooting backwards to the slide. (She knows this is how you approach any descent, be it a stair or getting down from bed or the changing table.) We tried out the swing but she was not a fan. (Jeff said it was made for chubbier babies, she had too much room to flop around in it.) I think what she liked most about the park was seeing all the other kids. She's our social butterfly.
