I had to mop the floors on Friday but had to find a way to confine Ava because she doesn't understand that she can't help with this project. Usually I try to mop when she's sleeping but that wasn't happening. I took our chairs from the dining room table and created a barricade to keep her in the living room on the carpet. Ava was NOT a fan of being confined in. She didn't care if she had all of her toys with her. She didn't care that she could still see me and talk to me. She wanted to be out and she wanted to get wet! Here's a few pictures of Ava's attempts to win this mopping battle.
Tactic A: Cry loudly and look pitiful.
Tactic B: Ignore Mom and look mad.

Looks like she was letting you have it! Were you able to keep from laughing?
No! How do you not laugh? What a stinker!
